Barbara is EJF’s Senior Property Manager. She holds a real estate license in Washington, D.C. and Virginia and a Washington, D.C. Property Manager’s License. Along with these licenses, she belongs to the National Association of Residential Property Managers and the Greater Capital Association of Realtors. Barbara’s fierce work ethic and methodical mind make her a client favorite at EJF. By working with Barbara, owners and investors can make their properties prosper.
Conrad is the Director of Rental Management at EJF Real Estate Services. His extensive experience, personality, and passion for real estate make him a critical member of our team. Conrad has already become an industry leader in the single-family property management world. He is one of the founding members and past president of the Washington, D.C. chapter of the National Association of Property Management (NARPM). Conrad also holds a Designation of Realtor and Residential Management Professional (RMP®) and is working toward his Master Property Manager(MPM®). Ultimately, his passion and personality help owners and investors preserve and build wealth through their properties.
James is the Business Development Manager at EJF Real Estate Services. James guides property owners through the entire leasing process. He is laser-focused on ensuring that EJF is delivering the best possible service so that owners and investors can achieve their goals. James holds a real estate license and is a member of the Greater Capital Association of Realtors. For his excellent online marketing techniques, James also received the designation of Certified Internet Videographer. He is an extremely talented individual that uses his smarts and work ethic to offer the best possible service.
Jennifer Oberg is the Director of Association Management at EJF Real Estate with over 14 years of actively working in the industry.
Jennifer obtained a B.Sc in Environmental Science and Government Policy from the University of Maryland.
As an executive with critical roles in EJF, Jennifer is passionate about developing and enhancing the strong relationship with the clients, and she is always seeking innovative ways to improve the service rendered to customers without necessarily incurring an additional cost of operation.
Her role as the Director of Association Management includes engagement with every affair related to the board, overseeing property managers while providing professional guidance to handling issues. She is also tasked with the implementation of policies and procedure development.
Jennifer is highly skilled at managing all types of projects, both large and small whether at work or home.
Peter Greeves is the founder and principle of EJF Real Estate Services. Peter began his real estate career at age 19 working fulltime for the Edmund J. Flynn Company and being a full-time student at the University of Maryland where he received a degree in Economics. Peter is a licensed real estate broker in DC, MD & VA. Peter, together with his brother, Matthew, founded EJF Real Estate Services in 1998.
Sam Le Blanc started his real estate career in college when he pursued courses at Georgetown University and obtained his first real estate license. After graduating he returned to his hometown of New Orleans, partnered with two developers, and began purchasing, renovating, and managing houses and apartments. He also represented property owners on lowering their real estate tax assessments. Returning to Washington DC in 1993, he pursued his entrepreneurial dreams and started, developed, and sold five successful businesses (utility audits, two restaurants, printing/ad sales, and also financial consulting). He returned to real estate full time in 2006 and began managing HOA properties. In 2011 he opened his own property management company, Crescent Property Management. Within five years the portfolio had grown to 30 communities and 150 single family homes. EJF and Crescent Property Management merged in 2018 and Sam uses his financial acumen to serve as the EJF Director of Association Finance.
Scott Burka is the Executive Vice President of EJF Real Estate and oversees all day to day operations of the EJF Community Association division.
He has extensive knowledge and professional experience that spans over 25 years in the industry including running his own management company, serving on the industry legislative action committee (currently co-chair), and as a volunteer course instructor for board members and managers. He holds multiple licenses and professional designations including the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation, the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation and the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation. He is a licensed DC Real Estate Broker, VA Real Estate Salesperson and holds a VA Common Interest Community Supervisory Employee license.
Scott obtained a B.A in Economics from Brandeis University, worked in the banking industry and then owned/managed Delbe Management for twenty-five years before joining EJF in early 2018.
Scott spends his leisure time skiing, running, serving as an Arlington County foster parent, a Boy Scout leader, board member for a DC-based affordable housing non-profit and as a board member of his synagogue.
Sheilla is a driven, experienced, and highly-organized Operations Manager. Throughout her ten years at EJF, Sheila has held almost every position in our rental department. She holds a real estate license in Washington, D.C. and Virginia, along with a Washington, D.C. Property Manager’s License. Sheila is also a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers and the Greater Capital Association of Realtors. Sheilla and her assistant manager Jesus offer a proactive problem-solving approach, meaning that owners and investors can more easily reach their property aspirations.
Tom is a third generation Washingtonian with more than 20 years of experience in the DC real estate market. Over his career Tom has worked in construction, association management, and residential sales. His varied real estate background allows him to bring a unique perspective and skill set to every aspect of the transaction.
Tom also has a J.D. from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2008. During his time in law school, he worked in the school’s legal clinic providing legal services to low-income elderly DC residents. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2008.
