Peter began his real estate career in 1985 when he took a part time job with the Edmund J. Flynn Company as a way of paying for college. He received his DC and Maryland Real Estate Salesperson’s Licenses at the age of 20 and began working as a full-time sales agent while maintaining a full class load at the University of Maryland. Peter graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988 with a BA degree in economics. A few years later he received his Broker’s licenses in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Peter and his brother Matthew founded EJF Real Estate Services in 1996. Peter is a Certified Community Association Manager and an active member of the Greater Capital Association of Realtors, the Property Management Association, the Community Association Institute, the National Association of Residential Property Managers and the DC Preservation League. Peter's commitment to housing is evidenced by his involvement is the DC based, non-profit housing organization, Hands on Housing, where he currently serves as a director and volunteer leader.
